 Hello everyone, and a big, warm welcome to our brand-new English class blog! (Привет всем, и добро пожаловать в наш совершенно новый блог по английскому языку!)

I'm so excited to start this journey with you. This blog will be our special online space where we can explore the world of English writing, share our creative ideas, and learn from each other.

So, what will we be doing here?

  • Writing, Writing, Writing! We'll be writing different kinds of texts – from personal stories and letters to your friends (like our upcoming "Friendship" and "Describing Heroes" topics) to creative narratives and more. This is your chance to express yourself in English!
  • Sharing Our Work: You’ll publish your writing here for your classmates (and me!) to read. It’s like having a real audience!
  • Reading and Commenting: We will read each other's posts and give helpful, positive feedback. This is a great way to learn together and support each other. Remember our "two stars and a wish" idea for feedback? We'll use that!
  • Improving Our Skills: Most importantly, this blog is a tool to help you improve your English writing, vocabulary, and grammar in a fun and interactive way.
  • Being Creative: Feel free to use images (that you have the right to use!) and other creative elements to make your posts engaging.

A Few Quick Guidelines:

  1. Be Respectful: Always be kind and respectful in your posts and comments.
  2. Be Constructive: When you comment on someone's work, offer helpful suggestions.
  3. Use English: Let's try to use English as much as possible in our posts and comments. It's great practice!
  4. Have Fun! Learning should be enjoyable, and I hope this blog helps with that.

 Hello everyone, We've had some great discussions about what friendship means to us and the qualities we value in our friends. Now, it's time to put those thoughts and feelings into words! Your New Writing Assignment: For this assignment, you will write a blog post in the form of a letter to a special friend . This can be a real friend or an imaginary one.
